1892 The Lizzie Borden Files, is a visual and narrative tour of the history of Lizzie Borden and the Borden family murders.
On the morning of Thursday, August 4, 1892, Andrew J. Borden and his wife Abby were both found murdered in different rooms of their home by their youngest daughter Lizzie Borden. The tragedy took place in the Borden home at 92 Second Street, in Fall River, Massachusetts, about a two-hour drive south of Boston. Lizzie would be arrested for the murder of her father and step-mother on August 11, 1892. For 10 long month’s Lizzie would remain in jail awaiting trial, and on June 5, 1893, one of the greatest murder trial’s in America would commence for a short 15 days. On June 20, 1893, Lizzie was found not guilty and released from jail a free woman. The murder of Andrew and Abby Borden remain unsolved to this very day. Included are 32 short biographies of the people involved and the Borden family.
